I would like like to thank Iain and everyone involved in Lomond for their amazing service to me and my granda after his wife/my gran passed away I had never arranged a funeral myself before and Iain guided me through each step of the way he took care of most of it actually and that took a lot of stress off of me he is very respectable and kind and I couldn’t recommend a better place than here for arranging the best send off for your loved one from everything from the cars and the coffin and the order of service booklets they recommend a printers which is very good they also collect everything for you so you’re not running around everywhere , and also a celebrant( Humanist) John Jack who was absolutely brilliant in carrying out my grans eulogy he kept true to each and every word . so thank you very much Iain and all your family for making my grans send off great .

I repatriated my darling husband IAIN FORSYTH SWANSON from Perth Western Australia to Glasgow, his home town, to be cremated at the Linn Cemetery Oct 2019. Organising the arrangements from another country was daunting, however, Iain MacDougall of Lomond Funeral Services had a lovely manner, very calming and considerate, which put me at ease straight away and provided an amazing and professional service and took very good care of me, answering emails and phone calls promptly, when I was in Australia. The logistics of repatriation was no issue for him and he even collected my husband from Edinburgh at no extra cost when he couldn't be flown into Glasgow! I had specific requirements and not only was he flexible to accommodate my wishes but provided good old fashioned service and very professional too, a quality arrangement for much less than other Funeral Companies. Iain's attention to detail was meticulous and even when I arrived in Glasgow, he met with me frequently to make sure everything was in order, he even suggested a florist that charged much less than ones I had sought, saving me even more money and they did a beautiful flower arrangement! I would highly recommend Lomond Funeral Service, you won't be disappointed!

I was amazed by the high quality of what was supposed to be a budget service. I was in the position of needing to organise the funeral of a friend without being able to get to get to Scotland. Iain took everything in hand so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He carried out this duty with great respect and sensitivity, and kept me informed all the way along. Iain MacDougal and his wife attended to my father, Tom Mannix, on his final journey. Everything they did for my dad and our family was carried out in a caring, compassionate, dignified and professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble: Flowers were organised. Staying open late was no problem. Contacting the celebrant, John Jack, on our behalf. Liaising with the printers for the Order of service Brochure. Everything was taken care of. Having this high level of personal service helped us all to alleviate our sorrow, and our stresses were considerably soothed. I must also add that John Jack is a wonderful celebrant.
