Fees and Charges

Our fees and charges are clearly displayed in our office and we will guarantee to offer our services at reasonable cost, no matter which services you select.

Funeral costs can vary considerably depending on which funeral service provider you choose for the same service at the same crematorium. Usually smaller independent providers like ourselves are much cheaper than any of the large national providers and offer a much more personal service to the families they serve.

Typical Pricing And Information

Most clients visualise a traditional funeral as including the removal of the deceased from the place of death, professional fees, preparation of the deceased including embalming, use of visitation room, hearse, one limousine, cortege via local address, provision of bearers, service in the crematorium chapel and returning the mourners to their home or place where they would be having after funeral venue. In order for us to facilitate this our charges are as follows:

  • Removal of deceased included
  • Professional charges in connection with arranging the funeral and funeral directors fees included
  • Oak veneer coffin fully fitted for cremation with six handles, nameplate, satin gown set and interior in colour of your choice included
  • Crematorium fees included
  • Ashes scattered in crematorium garden of remembrance or personally returned to your home address in a suitable container included
  • 50 order of service prints with photo of deceased included
  • Celebrant to visit family at home and create eulogy and officiate at crematorium included
  • 12 months interest free credit subject to status included.

TOTAL COST OF ABOVE TYPICAL CREMATION FUNERAL: £2,395.

Although we offer a fixed price service, you can personalise the funeral to your own requirements. There are many options when planning a funeral and we can facilitate all of them. In recent times we have been asked by foreign national families who have suffered a bereavement in the UK about repatriation of the deceased. We advised them that the most cost effective way would be for them to arrange a direct cremation of the deceased with us at a cost of £995 and supply a solid oak or mahogany ashes casket complete with brass nameplate at a cost of £45 plus airline confirmation letter from us. Most airlines will allow the passenger to carry the ashes casket as hand luggage to most European destinations. This is a good example of how families can benefit from just having a simple direct cremation without having to incur unnecessary expense. Though we operate from Glasgow, our services are available throughout Scotland. Please contact us anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, should you have any funeral enquiries and we will be glad to provide any help and advice that you may require.

Funeral Expenses Payment

You may be entitled to Funeral Expenses Payment (also called Funeral Payment) if you get certain benefits and need help to pay for a funeral. Please visit the GOV.UK website for further information.

Areas We Cover

We cover all crematoriums in Scotland. Unlike other funeral service providers that charge different prices for certain crematoriums, our fees are all the same regardless of which crematorium we travel to within Scotland.
